Pigs Paradise

For this assignment  I decided to find a couple of pictures of baby pigs for the image I would develop. I had to use three different photos of pigs, one photo of a pair of angel wings and picture of a grassy field.

So I'm just suppose to vote?

For my vote poster I really couldn't think of anything that I felt would look good and represent voting. So I decided to make a completely random abstract picture and added two sentences above it and "2011 Vote" beneath it. All in all I pleased with how it turned out even if it most likely doesn't meet any of the rubrics criteria.

Poetry Cover: Natures Soul

For the assignment of making a cover for the poetry anthology I decided to do something basic but at the same time attention grabbing. With some silhouettes that I found on the internet and the butter fly brush stroke under special effects. Over all I am pleased with how it turned out and hope that it is picked for this years anthology.

Digital Portrait: Shea's Demonic Grin

For the digital portrait project I decided on using Mr.Shea as the face I would alter. First I made a black and white version of the picture I took of him. For the second portrait I wasn't to sure on what it was I wanted to do. After watching some photo shop videos on youtube I decided on giving him a demon like appearance. One the tools that I used for this was the Burn tool. I also used the Liquify tool that was under the filter list as Distort and the clone stamp. Using the liquify tool I took the corners of Shea's mouth and stretched them up towards his eyes to create a grin. Then using the burn tool I darkened his smile, eyes, face, clothes, hair and the background for a darker feel. Using the clone stamp I was able to make multiple copies of his front teeth to fill in his mouth. The title of the second portrait I attached to this post is "Shea's Demonic Grin".

Day 5

I've added two additional images of death to the image I've been working on. I am pleased with how its turned out. With this post I will display the original image, my adaptation of that image and an artistic filtered image. I hope you enjoy them. One of the things that I did to turn the first image in to the second was change the sky. I also had to take a picture of a moon, remove it from its sky land scape, find an additional image and remove it form its back ground and then place it over the moon. For the reaper sitting near the entrance of a cave I had found the reaper in a sitting pose and removed him from its original image as well a replace his scythe with one that I created from two images of the same scythe put back to back. For the skull and smoke I found an image of purple smoke and removed it from its white back ground. For the skull I had to erase the hood that was behind as well as remove its original eyes and replace them with new ones. The demon head was an image of a lit cigarette with the smoke forming the head itself. The two reapers on either side of the image were cut from their images and placed in the positions.

Day 3

Made a second photo shop. I feel better about this one. I plan to add an explosion to help fill some of the space my sky has.
